  1. What an absolutely ace gig ! The Builders would like to thank all our loyal fans for coming along and making it so much fun. Hayseed Dixie were fabulous, weren’t they?
    The Builders have more TT nonsense coming up,
    on Mad Sunday night, on the Spirit Stage in front of the Bay Hotel on Port Erin prom at 8.00 PM and in Bushy’s tent at the Bottleneck on Douglas prom on Friday, Senior Race day,at about the same time.
    Thanx again for your rowdy support and we hope to see y’all soon.

    Can’t wait to get hold of the recording of the Tholtan’s set.

  3. Fucking fan-fucking-tastic!!!!!!
    What an awsome gig, loved playing the Gaeity (bizarre as it was) – big stage, no smoking, no-where to dance…..
    Had a brilliant time, – the ‘Dixies were totally awsome, and what a fine bunch of lads they are too – went & had a few beers with them in the Empress after the gig, no ego’s, just a bunch of top blokes up for some fun & giggles and more beers – would love to go for a few pints with them any day of the week.
    Not in the ‘boss’s’ good books – missed turning up for work this morning, – but it was well worth it!!!!!
    Many thanks to Mark Cleator for sorting out the sound, he did a brilliant job for us on stage regarding monitors & all that stuff, and I’m sure a really good sound for the audience.
    Many thanks to our local supporters too, lovely to see many familiar faces.
    Still buzzing my tit’s off from this one, can we do it again next year Lenny (pretty please!!!!)?

  4. What an ace gig !!!!
    Last time I saw the Tholtans was in the Vaults at the Bay Port Erin, this time in the Gaiety, bit of a contrast !!!!
    Blinding set, really entertaining, great fun
    Enjoyed Hayseed Dixie too, but for me the Tholtans stole the show, great to see the full band back together and especially nice to see Paul over (come back more often ya bugga !!)

  6. brilliant. I’m still smiling after that gig and it will live with me for a long time.
    lovely to be back on the rock (albeit briefly) and my only regret is that I didn’t get much chance to speak to people who I knew in the audience, oh well – hello.

  8. I was in Manxland in December and saw Thalton’s Builders in Port St. Mary, and loved the show!
    I’ve been keeping my eye out on this page for any of their music being available, but have yet to see any. Any update on TB downloads or CDs to order?

    Thanks for the comments, sure the boys will appreciate them 🙂 We’re hopefully recording the Tholtan Builders in November or December so with a bit of luck the CD should be out early next year. We’re all looking forward to it, should be great fun and I’m sure the album will be brilliant.
