Rock ‘n’ Roll Soul Summer Special 2004

Rock'n'RollSoul Summer Special 2004 flyerWe are delighted to confirm that London’s premier Soul and Funk club, Rock ‘n’ Roll Soul, will be returning to the Island for another Summer Special! It’ll once again be a night of Soul that Rocks and Rock with Soul up at the Riverside Music Rooms in Laxey on the 17th July.
Tickets are available now from Black and Blue – Castle Street Douglas, The Rovers Return – Douglas and The Bay Hotel Port Erin; the event sold out several weeks in advance last year so we’d recommend getting tickets in early to avoid disappointment. If you’d like to reserve tickets please send a mail to sales@ballagroove.com and well make sure you’re accommodated. Hope to see you there!
To read more about RNRS and to see a a review of last year’s event take a look at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Soul Website. Nat and Martin from the club recently did an hour long set on Sean Rowley’s excellent show All Back To Mine on BBC Radio (you can listen to their show via the online stream for the next week, so catch it while you can!). For more info drop us a line at info@ballagroove.com.
We’ll be posting more details on the Summer Special up here in the next few weeks so be sure to keep checking for the latest.
Cheers 🙂

“Cartesian Jetstream Need A Bass Player for dodgy instrumental funk, psyche, rock, garage, reggae band with limited prospects.
Enthusiasm and positive attitude more important than massive ability (but must know at least 4 chords and have a half-decent sounding instrument).
Musos welcome as long as they are prepared to put up with general incompetence and do not insist on us doing
